A scientific software engineer. I founded Simulutions to solve engineering problems, by combining software and science, while maintaining the freedom of an entrepreneur to choose which project I work on. With a M.Sc in Chemical Engineering and Process Technology, and software development experience in C++, Python and Matlab, I tackle software challenges from a scientific point of view.
What is scientific software?
Scientific software is essentially all software that is applied in a scientific field. Examples are calculation software which utilise numerical methods for aero/fluid-dynamics, physical transport phenomena, force calculations or processing scientific data using data science.
